🚨MTUSU Draft Constitution is now open for all MTU students🚨
We are delighted to let you know that the Draft constitution for a MTU Students’ Union is available for students to read and make amendments.
As you may know MTU Cork SU and MTU Kerry SU have been working together on a constitution for a potential merged union. The constitution outlines how the Students’ Union would operate, govern and represent you in the case of a merged union. So we would appreciate you taking a few minutes to have a look through it. This draft constitution is open to students from today, 13th of February until the 6th of March. During this timeframe students can request any changes and amendments to the document by emailing your respective Students’ Union Presidents!
What happens next?
When MTU Cork Students’ Union and MTU Kerry Students’ Union receive the amendments, the officers with consider and review them and then release the final version of the MTU Students’ Union constitution which can then be voted for or against by the students through a referendum.
