MTU Cork SU Referendum

A Referendum will take place on 26 & 27 April 2023 to decide on  the following:

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 MTU Students’ Union Constitution?

On 26 and 27 April, you will be asked to cast your vote on this Referendum online.

There will be two options – Yes or No.

DETAILS OF VOTING 

WHO CAN VOTE?

Registered, undergraduate students of the Munster Technological University (Cork) who are obliged to pay the full Student Contribution Charge for the academic year.

Registered students of the Munster Technological University (Cork) who are obliged to part pay the Student Contribution Charge for the academic year.

Full time registered Post Graduate students and full time International students.

Current Union Sabbatical Officers.

Voting eligibility is dependent on fees being paid – Student Contribution Charges covered by SUSI or any other grant or scholarship are deemed to have been paid.

HOW AND WHERE DO I CAST MY VOTE?

Voting for the Referendum will take place online and a link will be made available via an email to mycit.ie accounts, on MTU Cork SU social media platforms and here on the MTU Cork SU website.

The opening and closing times for polling will be notified closer to the date of voting.

HOW DO I CAST MY VOTE?

  2. Use your ID number and requested identifiers to access the voting screen
