- Nominations open on 8th September 2026
- Nominations close at 5pm sharp on 23rd September 2026
- Strictly no canvassing prior to close to the candidates meeting (which will take place on 24th September 2026)
- The nomination forms details who can nominate candidates in terms of their Union membership status and constituency.
- Defacement or alteration of the Nomination Form will invalid the nomination
- Candidates running for Sabbatical positions must not be restricted from employment in Ireland
- The decision on valid candidacy is at the discretion of the Returning Officer and their decision is final
Details required on the nomination form:
- Your name as registered with the University*
- Your course of study
- Your student ID number
- Your contact telephone/mobile number
*If you wish to use a name other than your registered name on the ballot form, please email vicky.osullivan@mtu.ie (no monikers/nick names allowed).
Nomination forms will be available to download from 12th February 2025.
