VP Campus Integration –
Kaia Egritepe

The key areas of my role are:

The Vice President for Campus Integration is a full-time role that supports students across Cork campuses (CCAD, CSM, NMCI) and working with the Union to promote student integration and engagement across campuses.

The role focuses on ensuring that students across all campuses feel equally represented, supported, and connected to the wider MTU student community. Every campus has its own identity, facilities, challenges, and student experience which the Campus Integration Officer works to understand and ensure that these are heard.

I will work to identify gaps in provision, raise issues on behalf of students, and push for meaningful improvements that benefit campus communities.

Representation, Integration & Student Engagement

Working to strengthen communication and collaboration between the Students’ Union and the wider campus communities. This includes engaging directly with students, gathering feedback, identifying shared concerns, and ensuring that students have a clear point of contact when they need their voices heard.

The role also aims to build stronger connections between campuses, encouraging collaboration, participation in Students’ Union initiatives, and opportunities for students to engage with the wider MTU community without losing the unique identity of their own campus.

Advocacy & Campus Development

The Campus Integration Officer advocates for the needs and interests of students across CCAD, CSM, and NMCI, working with the Students’ Union, university management, campus representatives, and relevant stakeholders to bring attention to issues affecting these students.

Above all, the Campus Integration Officer is here to ensure that no student feels overlooked because of the campus they attend.
